Gary Moderhock: Bridging Engineering Precision with Nature's Beauty

Born with an innate appreciation for the land, nurtured by the countless summers spent on his family farm, Gary Moderhock's transition into the world of landscaping wasn't just a career choice – it was a calling. His rich farming background instilled in him a profound understanding of the earth, its intricacies, and the value of sustainable practices. With hands that have known soil since childhood, and a heart that beats for preserving nature's beauty, Gary's work is a testament to his roots.

A graduate with a degree in mechanical engineering, Gary possesses a unique blend of technical know-how and hands-on expertise. This foundation has given him a distinctive edge in understanding the mechanics of natural environments and constructing outdoor spaces that are not only visually stunning but also functionally sound. His tenure in technical sales has honed his ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and convince potential clients of the unparalleled value he brings to the table.

Gary’s venture into landscape contracting is where his dual worlds converge. Every project he undertakes is approached with an engineer’s precision and a farmer's touch. His designs echo the harmonious balance between human ingenuity and nature's magnificence. Clients trust Gary not just because of his expertise but because he treats every project as if he's crafting a part of his own family farm.

In a world that often loses touch with nature, Gary Moderhock's work serves as a refreshing reminder of our intrinsic bond with the land. Through his landscape contractor business, he continues to meld the mechanical with the natural, creating spaces that tell a story of dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Corinne Moderhock: From Finance to Foliage

From my earliest memories of gardening with my mother, I've always been drawn to the outdoors. My professional journey took me into the financial realm, where I spent years mastering the intricacies of the business world as a CFO. But the call of nature was persistent. It was only a matter of time before I traded in spreadsheets for seedlings, pivoting back to my initial college passion - horticulture. Little did I imagine this path would intertwine with my life partner, Gary, who has been by my side for four decades.

Combining forces with Gary in our venture was a leap of faith. Operating a business with your spouse presents its unique challenges. But with shared vision and passion, we have not only navigated these challenges but have thrived in unison. The fruits of our collaboration can be seen in the serene and sustainable landscapes we design.

Outside the confines of work, Gary and I are perennial wanderers. Drawn to destinations brimming with natural beauty, our travels often resemble botany expeditions more than typical vacations - much to the amusement of our three nature-loving children.

With the backdrop of these experiences, I've developed a deep understanding of the symbiotic relationship between humans and nature. I'm driven to help clients foster this connection, curating spaces that are not only a visual treat but also a haven for the soul. Merging my financial expertise with my horticultural knowledge has empowered me to design landscapes that are as economically sound as they are aesthetically pleasing.

Being an integral part of a community that cherishes nature is an honor. With every project I undertake, I'm reminded of the wonders of the world around us and the pivotal role we play in safeguarding it for posterity.

In the rare moments when I'm not immersed in work, you'll find me lost in my garden, nurturing plants with the same love and care I've received from the earth. Or, perhaps, packing bags for another escapade with Gary. My life's journey, with its twists and turns, has been nothing short of magical, and I cherish every moment and memory crafted along the way.
